Dear Supporter,

I hope that you and those around you are safe and well.

With The Big Night In just a few days away, I wanted to write to you again to share our latest news and the best ways to get involved from the safety of your home.

From Little Britain and The Vicar of Dibley to Catherine Tate and Peter Kay, it’s shaping up to be an incredible night of entertainment and there is even more to come.

There are lots of ways to support us by fundraising from home. You could take part by challenging yourself with banana bread baking, cheering on the Scouts as they hike to the moon or taking on the 2.6 fitness challenge. You can find out how easy it is to join in with all these fantastic fundraisers and more below.

No matter how big or small, your fundraising will make a massive difference. The money raised by The Big Night In will be split equally between Comic Relief and BBC Children in Need and will go on to support a variety of charities and projects in the UK, including our Emergency Essentials programme.

With COVID-19 putting further pressure on family life, this incredibly important programme is supporting families living in severe financial, health and social difficulties. It means that we can meet children's most basic needs, from a bed to sleep in and a cooker for a hot meal to a washing machine so they can wear clean clothes. In these challenging times, support like this will be needed more than ever.

Please do take care and I look forward to seeing you all for The Big Night In later this week on Thursday 23rd April, 7pm, BBC One.

Another organisation close to the heart of NWR is this wonderful play centre in Chelmsford

As many other business’ at the moment mace playce is closed due to covid-19! They have tried but there are no grants available to them!

Every year they raise thousands of pounds for many charities, and donate so many raffle prizes! And in their time of need there is no one to help them!

They have been awarded best soft play centre every year since they opened, such a friendly, clean, soft play! Staff are amazing! And the mace family couldn’t do more to help anybody if they tried so let’s all do our bit and help them now! Xxx

With their outcomes costing over £14,000 a month! With no income every little will really help them!

No way did we think we would raise so much, so quickly! We have increased the target!!!

Thankyou to everyone so much for donating! If you can’t donate please share! Xxx
